Imma get straight to the point. If you haven’t had brownies from Lashings then you are MISSING OUT. This cute little shop is quickly becoming a Wellington institution and it's easy to see why - who doesn't love brownies?!
Their small-batch, artisan #TrueBrownies use single-origin Dominican Republic 70% chocolate from The Wellington Chocolate Factory - organic, ethically traded and vegan-friendly. Personal fave, the Fix & Fogg PB & Raspberry Jam brownies, and if you're feeling adventurous give the Vegemite brownies a go (don't knock it til you've tried it)!
You can pick yourself up a box brownies and #SoNuts from the Wellington Underground Markets on Saturdays and the Harbourside Markets on Sundays. But if you really want to treat yo'self we highly recommend heading in to HQ on Eva Street and digging in to the Ice Cream Brownie Bar with unlimited sauces and toppings. UNLIMITED.
Even better than brownies and ice cream? You can take your dog out on a date too! Spoil your furry best friend with a free house made doggy treat while you tuck in to a brownie or two (or three or four).
Specials are constantly rotating giving you the perfect excuse to visit regularly. At the moment there's an Autumnal apple tarte tatin (French apple tart) served with either pretzel ice cream or custard *dribbles*.
The first Sunday of every month is #SlowJamSunday, where they feature a local musician to cruise through the afternoon with. April's star is Andy Gartrell. Enjoy his smooth jams from 2-4pm!

If your dog can’t handle loud noises, busy crowds or other dogs, please refrain from bringing them with you, or test them out during a quiet period to see how they go. When taking your dog out remember to be wary of the conditions - make sure they have enough water and shade, check that the footpaths aren’t too hot for them to walk on (if it’s too hot for you it’s too hot for them!), and never leave them in a hot car.
